Our Solar Plants

Bellingan Renewables owns and operates a growing portfolio of commercial solar and battery plants in Nelson Mandela Bay. Each plant is built on tier-one equipment from Sungrow, Aiko and Canadian Solar, and supplies clean, reliable power directly to the businesses on site.

Plant Alpha – Greenbushes
Supplies 17 tenants across logistics and cold storage, with battery backup that keeps temperature-critical operations running through grid outages and supply instability.

• Solar PV: 350 kWp (594 × Canadian Solar 590 W)

• Inverters: 3 × Sungrow 125 kW grid-tied (375 kW AC)

• Battery storage: 450 kWh Sungrow PowerStack

• Commissioned: February 2025

Plant Bravo – 274 Kaleidoscope, Gqeberha
Our flagship plant, with the largest solar array and battery storage in the portfolio. This full hybrid system powers the entire precinct, including Vodacom, ABSA and other commercial tenants.

• Solar PV: 482 kWp (735 × Aiko 510 W + 200 × Aiko 535 W)

• Inverters: 3 × Sungrow 125 kW hybrid (375 kW AC)

• Battery storage: 600 kWh Sungrow PowerKeeper

• Commissioned: October 2026

A dedicated grid-tied plant supplying The Courier Guy.

Our newest plant, supplying the Pick n Pay distribution centre with high-efficiency Aiko modules.
